The following outline of Mayor Frank Scarpitti’s political life is but a snapshot of a public career that now spans 25 plus years. During which time, his focus has always been on serving the best interests of Markham residents. And serving them with energy, commitment and caring.

Yes, Mayor Scarpitti has and continues to hold, chair and serve a host of senior positions in our Town, the Region of York and the Province of Ontario, but in a nutshell, he still reflects the work ethic and values of a small town boy, from a loving and close-knit family. Titles don’t mean a thing to Frank other than as a means to help Markham residents.

Frank Scarpitti will continue to chair more committees and receive more onerous responsibilities … but he will continue to be accessible to every single resident everyday.
